"This was a great stay in such a historic hotel. The property definitely shows its age, but everything is clean. The accommodations are comfortable. Unfortunately, the area was hit by hurricane Helene but is slowly coming back so the dining and shopping options at this time are limited, but what is there is wonderful and the people are so friendly. We had a great stay, a relaxing and enjoyable weekend."

"The dinning room table was sticky. I wiped it down but it did not help. The cable did not work on the big tv. The HDMI cord was enpluged for some reason. Plugged it back in and it worked fine. Cigarettes were not cleaned out of the ash try on the deck table. I don't smoke so it didn't really matter."
