"They didn’t have our room ready at the 3pm check-in time. We arrived at 2pm and were told our room wasn’t ready and that check-in wasn’t till 3pm so come back then. We left and went for food when we returned at 3pm the lobby was full of customers all being told there were no clean rooms yet. I was told we would have to wait at least another 30-45 minutes for our room to be cleaned. I did get cranky because their check in time is 3pm and they knew there were reservations coming but instead of having rooms ready they made us and at least 2 other groups sit in the lobby and wait. After a 1/2 hour of waiting and me grumbling to my son the desk staff member said to me “lucky day you rooms ready” and he threw the card keys across the desk at me. When we went to the room there was a woman in the room still cleaning it and she made us sit in the hallway until she finished. Overall if you can avoid any contact with the staff it’s a good place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet."

"This property was beautiful. Had an older charm feel to it but still with newer amenities. The outdoor area was well used and always had people out there, made it feel like a mini community within. Found a fair share of small spiders, but not surprising with the woodsy area surrounding. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Overall was great and would stay here again!"

"We loved the room and being located just across the street from Flathead Lake. It was a beautiful view. The amenities were good. Friendly staff. The only two things I think could be adjusted was our carpet was extremely dirty as if the carpets haven't been cleaned for a long time and only vacuumed. Out feet were black with the dirt so I wouldn't walk around in bare feet. The second thing is it would be nice during the breakfast to have a protein option instead of only fruit and bread or cereal. The coffee was made perfectly! I would definitely stay here again because I loved the decor, lighted and heated vanity mirror, soft beds, and the shower/tub design. All in all, a good stay and one I would repeat."

Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Kalispell - Glacier National Park Gateway

"This hotel was a decent place to stay for the price, especially considering it was one of the more affordable options outside of Glacier National Park. The room was clean. There were a few downsides. The lighting in the room was awkward. The overhead fixture was dim. It seemed like the property might be in the middle of updates, since there were spots where wall sconce lights used to be. Also, the walls were very thin, so we could hear everything from the family in the room next door. The air conditioner kept the room cool, but it was quite noisy. The complimentary breakfast was mostly of carbohydrates like cereal, muffins, and bagels. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but it felt a little expensive for what was offered. Yet, being that close to Glacier National Park comes at a premium. So, if you are looking for a clean, budget-friendly-ish option near Glacier, it gets the job done, but don’t expect much."

"Hotel room was clean although getting a little old(tub, faucets). Staff was exceptional professional, helpful, friendly. Hotel grounds parking were well maintained, well lit. Nicest hotel in the area, plan to stay again."
