« The guy that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The girls in the mornning didn't acknowledge us. The room was very clean and comfortable. We missed breakfast because of the time--thought Central and it was Eastern--maybe staff could advise at check-in. But maybe our fault. It was a very nice place to stay. »

« I was with a group, so didn’t do activities. Front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My breakfast was good. I saw many people enjoying making waffles. It’s definitely a family-friendly place. Because there’s no elevator in the building we were in, I requested a 1st floor room, and it was great, and convenient. »

« The sleeping area itself was beautiful. It has a full sized bed and two twin beds. If you are not straight and white you will be off put by the confederate and other very political flags hanging from the house in the driveway. We did find some bullet casings in the grave next to our car so if you have little ones you might not want to let them walk around by themselves. Doug was very kind. « The house was lovely, clean, well stocked with everything we could need. Our host was attentive and accommodating. The only thing we noticed that was a bit concerning is where the tub surround meets the bathtub seemed to need new grout or caulk as it was discolored with grime. We were in town for an event and stayed only one night, but I'm sure we will return again. »
