First thing we noticed were the ant swarm in the kitchen, and as the week went on, the ants were everywhere. The most upsetting was when we realized that there was no access to the washer/dryer, even though it was listed as an amenity (only available for two week stays). My incontinent mom had a couple of accidents getting to the restroom - it would have been nice to wash those towels. The last couple of nights, the refrigerator kept beeping, probably the filter. My daughter just moved into the area, so it was a perfect place for me to stay. The house was clean and so cute. There is an issue with the hot water in the shower. You have hot water, and then it turns ice cold, and then the hot water comes back on again. I was there for only 3 days and didn't reach out to the owners. It’s just as charming in person. I love the downtown Riverside area and so staying here fits with the magic of that area.
