« Great place to get away from it all. Close to Trout Pond which has a fantastic beach. Great place for children too, especially our 6 month old as the location had a pack and play as well as a high chair, making our packing that much lighter. Great communication with host. The property was clean and comfortable. »

« The cabin was peaceful, there was plenty of firewood and i loved the enclosed porches. I spent a lot of time just relaxing and reading without getting eatene by bugs! My only complaint isbthe outside lights didn't work. »

« It was everything we hoped it would be. The house was absolutely gorgeous!!! Clean, roomy, and a fantastic game closet!!! Sitting out on one of the wrap around porches was as close to nature as you can get. Trails and kayaking close enough to spend the whole day. »

« The property was one of the best stocked and clean homes we have stayed in. All kitchen supplies and equipment you would need for a visit in the woods were available. The coffee/tea station fully stocked was a great touch. The owner was very responsive when we reached out prior and during our visit. We spent each day hiking in the woods with our dog. The property was well located to reach many parks as well as several towns. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. »

« My 26 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the High View Hideaway.  Although it dropped to 17 degrees during our visit, we were always comfortable.  The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our trip.  The cabin is a bit off the trail, but we knew that going in and we were easily able to find some nice local trails to explore.  The Big Schloss trail was our favorite.  Since we both work remotely, I should also mention that the WIFI worked just fine....

« Location is beautiful and the home was well suited for our stay. The only issue we had was locating the trash bin and realizing that there was no air conditioning in the home except for the master bedroom. It was pretty hot but doable. Thanks again. »

« We had such a beautiful and peaceful getaway! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed, aside from bringing our own food. We thoroughly enjoyed the river access and use of the kayaks. Communication with the host was super easy and helpful. Overall, a serene and rejuvenating weekend. Thanks a ton! »
