Richard was the best! This place was very cozy and so clean and well maintained. Richard was so helpful and made it a memorable stay. If I am back in Iceland I hope I can stay here again.

The manager provided a brief, convenient tour of the room and kitchen facility and we found him to be very welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay on our last night in Iceland and it was convenient to the airport. Very quiet, safe and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. We also enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks and food at Kim Wong‘s wings, which was a short walk from the hotel

Great for a night to sleep before leaving for the airport. Not much to do with regard to other activities, meals etc. In a residential neighborhood so without a car you are stuck there. But again it served its purpose for us. Got there in the evening after dinner and left for the airport the next morning early before breakfast. Clean and very accommodating.

The owner Richard was very kind, attentive and helpful. He transported me from and to the KEF airport. Although the room was not big, but clean and quiet. The bed was quite comfortable. A market was steps away, very convenient. It was a pleasant stay for me!

We arrived on a midnight flight and were exhausted. After a short 18min taxi ride, we arrived at Arctic Wind and what a relief! Of the places we stayed on this trip (Sweden & Finland) this was by far the best. Very clean room, extremely friendly owner, neat little bathroom with all the necessities (and best shower of the trip). Before we left the owner made coffee for the three us. I would definitely stay again!

We booked in Vogar to be closer to KEF before our flight the next morning. The staff took care to make sure we had a good experience. Convenient kitchen on site. We had a rental vehicle but they also offer shuttles.

This motel is fine for a short stay, check in and check out very easy , you have everything you need in your room just little too tiny. The only thing I didn’t like is the shower , too small and door does not close properly so you have water coming out all over. Everything else was just fine for the price point I guess.
