  • Villa Margo is a newly built, modern luxury villa with 4 bedrooms, located just 6 kilometers from Rethymno town. It is situated in a beautiful and tranquil area, near Crete University. This autonomous two-story building comprises a 200-square-meter residence and a 22-square-meter private swimming pool.



    The ground floor of the villa features four bedrooms, with the central one being 32 square meters and equipped with its own living room and bathroom. The other three bedrooms on this floor have a double bed each and a shared bathroom. Additionally, there is a laundry room and a kitchenette on the ground floor, with direct access to the swimming pool area. All rooms are equipped with autonomous heating and air conditioning for your comfort.



    On the upper floor, you'll find a living room with an open fireplace and surrounding terraces that offer great views. The dining room is connected to a fully equipped kitchen and a veranda overlooking the pool and the surrounding nature. There is also an additional WC on this floor. The terraces are furnished with outdoor furniture, a dining table, and umbrellas. The pool area is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a BBQ for outdoor cooking.



    Gallou village is a semi-mountain village in the prefecture of Rethymno, known for its lush vegetation throughout the year. It is located approximately 6 kilometers southwest of the city of Rethymno. In Gallou, which has been designated as a traditional settlement since 1995, you'll find supermarkets, sports facilities, the National Stadium of Rethymno, municipal tennis courts, taverns offering traditional Cretan cuisine, and cafes. For nature enthusiasts, the nearby Galliano gorge is a perfect hiking route along the verdant banks of the ravine, and the oak forest of Kastello, part of which lies in the Gallou settlement, offers a beautiful natural setting.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un super sejour, la propriété est identique aux photos. Nos hotes ont été extrêmement gentil...disponible et à la fois d'une grande discretion. Nous avons eu droit à du jus d'orange maison, des citrons, du fromage et du vin blanc. Merci beaucoup à eux. Nous recommandons sans hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Crete! The property is exactly as pictured—beautiful and comfortable. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful when we needed to visit the hospital, they went out of their way to assist us. The kids absolutely loved the pool area, and the villa is located in a nice, quiet area, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!

Lovely Margo Villa

Had the best time at Margo Villa. This was my second time coming and it was just as great as my first. Me and a group of friends came to stay for a week and had the most lovely experience, the host were brilliant and the arrival and departure was all smooth sailing. Had brilliant facility’s including a great kitchen and living room. The pool was amazing and kept us all nice and cool in the heat.

The villa was extremely clean and the host met us at the villa and checked us in which was very helpful. Lovely villa and pool area. Would recommend having a car but taxis also can be called.

We just stayed ten days in Villa Margo in Gallou, ten minutes drive outside of Rethymno. The villa was absolutely stunning. Fantastic space in all bedrooms, spotlessly clean everywhere, great living and dining room areas plus two huge terraces with stunning sea and mountain views. Kitchen very well equipped, plenty of towels, lovely bathrooms. The pool area is exceptional. Lovely size pool, plenty of sunbeds with big umbrellas and tables. There is a washing machine and plenty of room to dry everything which made life easy. We had a resident cat repeatedly come into the house which was fun. Friendly enough but slightly unhinged! Rethymno itself is stunning. So many wonderful places to eat and drink, lots of lovely shops, plenty of beach with hundreds of sunbed options which are very reasonable at 10 for two for the day with a little table and umbrella. The villa was the perfect distance away. We hired a car but easily found a taxi number which you WhatsApp to order, they were efficient and always charged the same, 15 each way. The owners of the villa were on hand, very friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all. We had full use of all four bedrooms, the living and dining areas, pool and garden and space on the drive to park. We really could not have wished for a better stay and are already looking at taking friends there next year as we loved the whole set up so much. Would highly recommend Villa Margo, we had a fantastic time. Thank you to our hosts.

Modern & Peacefull villa, Fantastic views, Private pool, Gentle Hosts : Could we wait for more ?

We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend it. We spent 10 days and gladly we would have stayed longer. Margo left nothing to be desired, everything very clean and modern furnished. Special thanks to the hosts for all their attentions, you're really very nice and were always available to answer any questions we had. From the front terrace the view of the sea has been our morning highlight, the sunset was also gorgeous.

Ein angenehmer, sauberer und entspannter Aufenthalt

Die Villa besteht aus 3 Etagen, wovon 2 Etagen aktiv bewohnbar sind. 3 Badezimmer (2 davon mit Dusche). Insgesamt sehr sauber. Terassen bieten einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Ca. 10 min von Rethymno entfernt.
