Welcome to Lyra Petra Villa in Violi Charaki, just a short distance from the vibrant heart of Rethymno city in beautiful Crete! Our villa is named "Lyra Petra", in honor of the local tradition. The settlement got its name from a young man who, by playing the Cretan lyra on a rock (called "petra" or "charaki" in the Cretan dialect), was alerting residents of approaching invaders. Our villas name combines the Cretan Lyra and the local stone, capturing the historical and natural charm of the location.  
Designed with sophisticated elegance, the villa combines modern simplicity with traditional Greek island architectural details. Constructed using Cretan stone excavated from the exact site where the villa stands and complemented by wood elements, it creates a unique and enchanting atmosphere. Located very near Rethymno center but away from the noise and close to the main road, the villa offers easy access for daily excursions. Enjoy views of our beautiful sea, Psiloritis mountain, and Rethymno city in this serene and luxurious retreat.
