Located not far from Rethymno but far enough away on a hill to have privacy while still having a slight sea view. The management company had excellent communication before and during. There are two other villas on site but there is enough privacy to not know they are there. The pool and the view was the real highlight to the property. We enjoyed our stay and it was a good place to base ourselves to see the western side of the island. ##### William G. Jul 17, 2016 #### Fantastic property with wonderful hospitality The villa was lovely - I would confidently recommend it to a friend! It felt very luxurious with all the facilities (air con, wifi, pool etc) and was modern but retained a charming character. Of particular note, was the wonderful hospitality and service offered by Sonia and her husband. This included a home baked moussaka, warm and awaiting us on arrival; a meal hosted in a local tavern for the residents of all 3 villas; and lots of useful advice on supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. On the practical side, the property was clean, well maintained, and the description (including the wonderful sunset views) was accurate. The property was suitable for our family of 4 (kids are 8 and 11). Trips we can recommend are: Knossos and the museum in Heraklion; the Watercity aqua park; and beaches around Bali (one small quiet cove with canoes for easy trips to caves, and a busy one with an inflatable obstacle course in the sea!). Restaurants in Rethymno are numerous and we took the recommendations on the villa owners and were delighted each time. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war auch easy. Paar Kleinigkeiten müssten behoben werden wie duschkopf müsste an der Wnad befestigt werden. Tvs haben kein Signal Und die Küchenmöbel riechen sehr nach Feuchtigkeit. Aber im großen und ganzen war es ein entspannter Urlaub. Den Kindern hat es auch super gefallen. ##### Mariano P. Wir wurden von der Besitzerin so warmherzig und freundlich empfangen. Sie hat uns sogar die ersten nötigen Lebensmittel gekauft, da die Läden um diese Uhrzeit bereits zu hatten. Diese Gastfreundschaft hat uns nachhaltig beeindruckt und zog sich durch unseren gesamten Aufenthalt. Immer wieder hat sie uns mit Aufmerksamkeiten unseren Aufenthalt so schön gemacht. Auch das Objekt ist einfach herrlich. Es befindet sich in Mitten Olivenhainen und ist sehr ruhig und idylllisch. Wir haben an manchen Tagen das Haus gar nicht verlassen, da wir uns in dem schön angelegten Garten/Terrasse und dem Pool so wohlgefühlt haben. Weiterhin ist das Haus sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es mangelt einem an nichts. Im Gegenteil. Das Haus sieht in Realität exakt so aus, wie auf den Bildern. Die Strände sind in einigen Autominuten zu erreichen. Ein Auto ist bei diesem Ferienhaus dringend zu empfehlen, da man nicht zentral in einer Stadt ist. Wir würden unseren Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder verbringen uns möchten uns nochmal ganz herzlich bei der Besitzerin für Ihre Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft bedanken. ##### Charis M. Our house was clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay, so there was no necessary to organize some daily stuff (like tabs for dishwasher, toilet paper, etc.) Welcome was very warm and owner was always happy to help! Wir haben 8wunderbare Tage in der Villa verbracht und können sie zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Angefangen bei der Kommunikation der Agentur (mehr als hervorragend) bis hin zur Sauberkeit, Lage und Liebe zum Detail. Wenn es etwas zu beanstanden gäbe, wären es die Mücken. Aber auch da kann man Abhilfe schaffen. Die Lage ist gut. Man ist relativ schnell in den großen Städten und auch an dem schönen Strand. Man hat Ruhe (gerade zu Corona Zeiten ideal). Wir durften sogar vor dem eigentlichen Check In ins Haus und auch bei der Abreise länger bleiben. Das ist auch nicht selbst verständlich. Mit Kindern ist es super. Wir hatten die mittlere Villa und da ist kein Ausbüchsen drin. Den Pool kann man mit einem Zaun absperren so dass wir entspannt im Garten sitzen konnten. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Alles war wie im Inserat beschrieben. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird und der Außenbereich ist ein Traum. Sonia war super nett und hat uns sogar mit Moussaka und Wein Willkommen geheißen. Emplacement très calme, dans les hauteurs, mais d'un accès facile sauf lors de la 1ère fois car le GPS ne donne pas la localisation précise. Il faut juste savoir qu'il faut passer devant l'église de Prinios et continuer sa route dans la colline. Excellent accueil de Sonia, le repas du premier soir vous sera offert. La cuisine est très bien aménagée, les chambres sont agréables et climatisées. L'internet fonctionne correctement, il n'y a pas de chaines de télévision étrangères. La piscine est petite mais agréable, pour se rafraichir au retour de la plage. Boulangerie à proximité, Rethymno est à environ 20 minutes. (parking gratuit près de la citadelle). La meilleure plage à proximité est celle d'Episkopi avec un excellent restaurant. Je suggère de visiter le monastère d'Arkadi qui est à environ 30 minutes et de profiter des plages du Sud qui ne sont pas très éloignées. Une aide-ménagère est proposée 1 fois par semaine par séjour et nettoyage de la piscine, c'est agréable! Notre hôte, Sonia nous a gentiment accueilli avec une Moussaka, c'était super! Valia, la responsable des locations nous a demandé plusieurs fois si tout se passait bien, la communication est excellente! Nous avons reçu plusieurs idées de restos, visites que nous avons beaucoup appréciées! :) La villa se situe à 5min en voiture de la plage et 15min de la ville de Rethymno, très facile! Lage und Ausstattung sind sehr gut und wirklich ausreichend für bis zu 4 Personen. wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und von oben kann man wunderbar auf das Meer schauen oder die Abende gemütlich auf der Lounge genießen. The view is beautiful, very quiet and private. The inside has a comfortable living room, kitchen with all the necessary features arc. Aug 19, 2018 #### Excellent Villa, especially for kids We stayed for two weeks at this lovely property with two small kids (4 and 2 years). Rethmynon is approx. 10-15 min. drive away. The house is very nice, pool and playhouse have been extensively used. There are even things to play with in the pool and some beach toys. Sonia, the lady taking care of the house, is extremly nice and helpful. She escorted us the house on arrival (since we did not find the way) and even provided a very tasty Moussaka to eat at the first night. The same applies to Valia, the property manager - very helpful & friendly. Some small things to improve/to be noted: - Both cupboards have no boards in it. Therefore you had to put things on the floor of the cupboards. - The tavern advertised in the text has been closed recently. - It is to be noted that the property is near to a (very nice) church. They ring the bell at 7 am in the morning (not an issue for us since the kids were already up at that time). But others should consider this. - Some more kitchen appliances would be great (glasses, etc.). Nevertheless, an excellent villa/stay. ##### Nicolai S. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et réactifs, attentifs à toutes les demandes. La villa était parfaitement entretenue, de même que le jardin et la piscine. Le ménage est effectué tous les 3 ou 4 jours. L'endroit est très calme, loin de la circulation (on la devine seulement au loin, au fond du vallon qui donne sur la mer). La vue est très agréable: mer, colline, vallée avec une ancienne église. A côté des trois villas se trouve une petite église orthodoxe entourée d'un jardin magnifique et ouvert au public. Le parking juste derrières les villas est pratique. Bon à savoir: l'accès à la villa la première fois n'est pas évident, la sortie de la nationale à Skaleta étant mal indiquée. The villa itself is perfect with a lovely garden area including pool to spend lazy days in the sun. Sonia, our hostess was very welcoming and did everything she could to make our stay an enjoyable one, including arranging birthday celebrations - thank you! Nous avons passé une superbe semaine de vacances dans cette magnifique maison. Plusieurs choses à noter : - l'acceuil exceptionnel de Sonia qui se fait un plaisir de répondre à toutes nos sollicitations mais également de préparer un délicieux dîner crétois pour chacuns de ses hôtes le jour de leur arrivée.
