Darling Cape Cottage - Steps from Downtown Harwich Port

"We enjoyed our stay in at the cottage in Harwich Port. The location is great - just a few steps to town, not far from several beaches and close to Brooks Park which has very nice tennis courts, a big tot lot and access to the Cape Cod bike trail. The house is very clean, well equipped (bikes and beach items included), comfortable outdoor sitting area, and was perfect for the 4 of us. The owners were very responsive to our questions and check in was easy. The bonus is what a great town Harwich Port is - good restaurants, art shops and small stores for shopping at your fingertips. You can't go wrong with this one!"

"First time I've ever booked through VRBO (or any other online system) and I was a little nervous about the whole thing but ....The place was a perfect stay for myself and two 14 year olds .... the clean pond was perfect for the teens who took advantage of it a few times; if we had more time they would have been in it more. Being able to use the grill a few times was great Location was perfect to the beach and quick drives Orleans for paddlebpoarding and Yarmouth for mini golf. My daughter said she did not want to leave and wanted to come back again next year - high praise indeed from a teenager!"

"It was a great property, not fond of the location on the main street. Del Mar, extremely responsive to any call. Could’ve had a little bit better in the description of what was there and what was available on a daily basis I didn’t realize we would have someone come and make up the beds and give us fresh towels. I thought that was terrific and they did have plenty of beach towels I brought my own. I didn’t have to bring them. Tennis court was a big hit. Layout of the house was great. "
"Stay was excellent every was great. Only two minor nit picks. First, TV remote did not work well and the tvs physical controls were broken so the volume was very difficult to adjust not a big deal. Second, we had a room with a kitchenette and many of the dishes and utensils were put away dirty by the previous group so there was food on every thing. I feel like although its up to you to wash your own dishes the hotel staff should atleast inspect these items between stays or indicate that there would be a fee if they are not clean to ensure the previous group doesn’t put away dirty dishes."
