"About 30 mins from downtown St Thomas and in a quieter section of the island but a very good resort for the money. Restaurant onsite isn’t fancy but gets the job done. Best dining is taking the safari or a taxi into Red Hook or into downtown St Thomas. Facility is nice. Pools are large and well kept. The hilltop swim up pool bar is a blast. Highly recommend doing the snorkel cat catamaran excursion of this property as well. Worth every cent for the 5 hours of fun. "

"Resort was beautiful! Staff for the most part was so friendly and helpful. Pools were amazing. Short walk to the beach. Views were breathtaking. Shout out to Jessica in Client Services. She was the nicest, most helpful staff on site. If you have any issues she will help you quickly. My only problem was on the first day we called the front desk to let them know that the bathroom sink was broke and was not draining. We called the front desk three times. No one came. Finally three hours later a maintenance man called our room saying he was sent to the wrong room and wanted to know the problem… we explained and he said he would be up shortly… 6 hours later no one came. We went to the front desk to speak to someone. They acted real annoyed and ensured us someone would come…. No one ever came. No one ever called. I finally caved and YouTubed how to ride the sink myself and handled it myself 4 months pregnant on my first night of my honeymoon… After hearing about this experience, Jessica helped us only by chance because we met her at the pool. If it wasn’t for her I would probably rate lower on staff and facilities. The shower definitely had sign of mold and need re-caulking. The pools prob could be drained, deep cleaned and painted. Beside the Shorebird the food was mediocre for the prices. Luna Mar was the second best. But would recommend going into the city for food. Or to Bouy Haus for Isla Blue (which is pricy but def worth it). I would still rate this 9/10 experience. "

"My husband and I enjoyed 5 days in this condo. I was very happy with the location and condition. This location is on the marina size of Sapphire beach. It is about a 10 min walk to the beach area. Not hard to walk once you figure out which way to go. This room was equipped with beach chairs and snorkling equipment. The snorkling equipment was well used. All masks had scratches and broken straps, but my husband tied them on and made them work. There is rental snorkle gear on beach also. Overall very happy with our stay. We would stay there again. "

"This was our 3rd time renting from Ryan and Roxy. We love the location, size of the apartment, amenities on property, the cleanliness and the attentiveness by our hosts. This time we were there during a hurricane watch and Ryan and Roxy made sure we stayed well informed and quickly responded to my questions. Couldn’t say enough. Looking forward to next year. "

"Such a lovely and relaxing place. We loved the access to the beach/pool, food service, and the beach equipment available. The place was spotless! The beeping noise when loss of power created sleepless nights, but we just napped on the beach the next day. We will return!"
