"The hotels at a good location, very comfortable, enjoyed the balcony, etc. I am a coffee lover and we needed more coffee pods. We happened to meet the housekeeper in the hall and she provided the extra coffee and cups. The restaurant was very good. More information should have been available concerning the various activities in the Lake Placid area. I had to look for information in other areas. we were able to see a number of interesting things."

"14 kids in the hot tub with no adult supervision. Hotel was under construction, no one told us before our stay! Woman at the desk sent us to the wrong entrance when we checked in (the rest of the staff were very nice). Beach is very nice. Views are great from the patio but hard to get s seat. Patio needs to be expanded and add a 2nd firepit so more guests can enjoy the views"

"The room was clean. The shower was hot. We had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable. We had to ask the front desk for a hair dryer. The door to the room would stick and could be difficult to open. The bathroom sink was backing up and draining very slowly. Breakfast was adequate. Hardly had any interaction with the staff. The front desk person stayed in the back room but did come on out if you rang the bell. Would have loved to have had a direct access to the bike trail and a place across the street to launch a kayak or canoe. The location is good otherwise. Quick 5 min. bike ride into town."
