We balanced going to the twilight festival for the 20th anniversary of the book release, with doing small trips to other places in Olympic national park! « We had a great 2 night stay. We have 2 adults (downstairs bedroom) and our 21 and 18 year old (loft). Great location for exploring- we hit the rainforest (go early- the line was really long to get in by the time we left) and Ruby Beach- highly recommend both. It is well located to downtown and to the hiking and beach areas which made it a great location. The outside view is fantastic and so relaxing to sit outside by the river. « This is a beautiful, well maintained property nestled on the banks of the Sol Duc river. The accommodations were very comfortable & offered all the amenities of home. Shelly, the owner, was very responsive to all our inquiries. This was the perfect place for our family of 8 adults to gather & enjoy the peace & quiet of the outdoors. « This place was amazing. The inside of the house, even though it was small, it had everything I needed and was super & cozy. The bed was so comfortable, I slept so well especially with the window open I could hear the river. The outside area was a huge bonus! The outside living room with the fireplace & tv was a nice spot to chill. There is trail to the river and sitting spot to drink my coffee. And of course the jacuzzi was great to relax in & look at the stars. I really enjoyed staying here....
