"Stunning location with awesome views of the lake"
We loved our stay at the Oaks Club Resort. We stayed for 5 nights and were upgraded to a 2 bdr apartment which was greatly appreciated. It was a huge apartment with jaw dropping views of the lake and mountains. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything for making home cooked meals. The washing machine and dryer also came in handy after several days of hiking. It was slightly chilly on several of the days, so the gas fire was most welcome in making the apartment nice and cosy. Friendly reception staff and very efficient. We had a minor problem with the dishwasher which was quickly rectified by the staff. Would definitely stay again.

"Walk or shuttle to toen"
The hotel is a brief walk to town (or you can use the shuttle). Well appointed and tidy the odd shape means some floors are below the reception. Given the stunning views in Queenstown the location doesn't make the most of the opportunity. This is a good place to stay but some other properties make the most of the scenery.

"Beautiful location with views!"
We stayed in the Deluxe room, lake view for 2 nights and it was absolutely spectacular! The views from the room are gorgeous! The room was perfect with very high ceilings. The balcony was a nice extra touch however it rains a lot in Queenstown and the balcony had no roof cover so you couldn't even use the balcony. The restaurant at the hotel also has gorgeous views but the menu is overpriced for what it is, especially because you're just eating at the hotel. The continental breakfast in the morning was nice and filling (toast, danishes, croissants, fruit, cheese, salami, hams) but they remove the food immediately at 930am. The only real issue with the hotel is that they promise free parking but in reality there is limited spots and not all hotel guests will get free parking forcing you to park on the street which becomes a hassle when its pouring rain, when you are carrying groceries or when you have lots of luggage. The staff didn't seem to care that they do not have enough parking for all their hotel guests. Their "spa" is also a Jacuzzi in a closed off area that looks like hasn't been cleaned or used in years - we were hoping to book in the spa but were immediately turned off when we saw it.

Incredibly cosy and beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. We stayed only for 1 night when passing by Queenstown so haven't used the facilities and not sure how good the location is.

"Excellent as always "
I love staying here each time I'm in Queenstown. The staff have always been great and attentive. The location is just absolutely stunning. Just a few minutes down the road to the city Centre. The view from the outside balcony at the lake view and forest wing is just incredible. Nice when I'm having a hectic month of work to just come and recoup. Thanks for that.
