"This holiday was a very last minute option for me and my husband, we booked it on the Monday evening and went on the the Tuesday. The Maribel apartments in Puerto del carmen was one of the cheapest options and it suited us both fine. Nevertheless, when we arrived at the apartments we were very pleasantly surprised with how lovely, clean and bright the whole complex was. We were even more delighted when we discovered our basic room was actually a very well equiped 1 bedroomed apartment. The apartment had everything you could need in it Iron, Microwave, brilliant hob and oven and large fridge freezer. The apartment also had a very large balcony with a separate section for you to dry clothes on. The pool area was very clean and well looked after, also not to busy with plenty of bed (possibly this may have been the time of year). The cleaner did our apartment about 3 times during our stay and we were also provided with toilet rolls, washing up liquid and dish clothes. Not that we stayed in and cleaned much but if you have a family with you these basic touches help to keep down the costs for you. The apartment Maribel is situated in a really great location on the lively strip of Puerto del carmen however, the bars appeared to close about midnight and the area was really quiet for sleeping. Really loved it and will definitely be going back in the future "

"lovely apartments clean and very comfortable ideally situated middle of the resort just 5 minutes from the beach.decent sized pool.apartments could do with an upgrade but for what you pay they are spot on.only niggle i had and it may seem silly but most apartments i have been too in lanzarote have an area where people leave left over books and you can drop yours off and just pick a book.here you had to give up a book and pay a euro to get a book.bit odd"

"Very clean, 1 bed apartment with Pool & sea view. There is a selection of studio, 1 bed & 2 bed apartments- some of which I have been told have been refurbished with a new walk in shower. 6pools situated around the complex with an additional restaurant (which was closed during our stay), kids small play area and pool tables. Staff were friendly- especially Danny, he was a great host! Evening entertainment & special Food nights. The Food very nice, plenty drink options and both reasonably priced. There was a shop 2 min walk outside the apartments which has a great selection of local and international foods/products. A further 5 mins down the road onto the strip of PDC, with plenty to see and do on the 2 mile stretch which all over looks the lovely, sandy beach. there is a slight hill ( cardiac some call it) down to the strip, this is manageable either slow & steady or a for a workout. I would recommend these apartments for location, amenities, price and for our overall experience of Lanzarote. We have booked again for the summer and can’t wait to go back with our family. "
