Chalets à Portsmouth

« Housekeeping could be better behind stands , tables and chairs and in bathroom tub area. Two corners had either dirt or mold that draws attention. White caulking could cover this up easily. I believe there is a bathroom exhaust fan but it didn’t work. After hours you have no keycard access to side and rear of building. Only 6-8 parking spaces in front so most are forced to park in rear and walk around. Most of staff were cordial. Good continental breakfast and hostess was great ! »

« Room was @ 61 degrees when first entered. The room is located very close to Highway 23 which was very loud and noisy, including the train tracks a few feet away with a train coming through every two hours. The shower continued to drip all the time, as well as the toilet continued to cycle flushing required the bathroom door to be shut all the time. The breakfast setting was good, but the hot portion was not available on all days. Not many choices in the Portsmouth area. »

« Temperature control in each room »

« Close to downtown access to good restaurants and the Ohio river nearbyMurals and flood wall are close by which are very popular attractions »

« Traveling with spouse and an in-law, I was highly pleased from the time we opened the front door ! A tastefully decorated house with more features than anticipated. We will definitely book our next stay with Lisa, when we are back in Portsmouth, Ohio »

« Great place, wonderful host, nice neighborhood. Very happy. This is a regular stay for me. Highly recommended! »

« We needed somewhere where we could bring our dog and really appreciated that it was dog friendly, that’s what originally brought us to this listing. But as we read about the cabin and the natural surroundings, it couldn’t be more perfect! They are thoughtful with the items they stock for visitors. Very comfortable! »

« We truly enjoyed our stay! The home was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The host was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating to anything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay. »

« Very clean home, hot tub was the cleanest one we have ever encountered, host was very informative, prompt, and easily reachable. The little touches (s'mores basket and toiletry basket in master bath) were a super sweet gesture. Plenty of blankets and towels. AC was great. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. This was perfect for my husband and I to get away and unplug from adulting. We plan to stay again on the future! »

« The building didn’t have any logos, the carpet was musty! And a cockroach was in the bathroom. The front desk ladies was nice. »

« Nice peaceful place to stay. Could use a little TLC but not bad. »

« Not pet friendly and needs new management. »

« Very clean and cozy beds! The breakfast here is one of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel! On weekends though it doesn’t start until 7am. We were up super early so it would have been nice if it started at 6am. No complaints on anything else. »

« Excellent stay. Especially for this reasonable price point. I’ve stayed at higher priced hotels that had less friendly service. Not only was the staff very helpful at this Best Western was so clean, quiet, great shower pressure and shower head. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Serena. Or Sierra? Was very helpful. She made me feel comfortable on my Stay. Enjoyed the hotub too! I liked the Laid back vibe. Thanks! »
