It was a truly beautiful, quiet, and conveniently-located neighborhood. This district ended up being our favorite in the city, and we could easily walk to our favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. As far as commuting downtown, there were many public transit options and plenty of street parking. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well thought out, and lovely to be in. This cute cottage is in a lovely residential neighborhood with restaurants and shopping just a short walk away - and a bus close by to take you quickly into downtown Portland. The owner added a window air-conditioner when the area had record high temps during our stay. Great kitchen and lots of storage for clothes, etc. Charming decor and comfortable seating. We were 5 minutes from a Safeway and 10 minutes from a Fred Meyer and only a 5 minute walk to the bars/restaurants/shops on Division St. There are also multiple bus lines nearby that made it easy to get around Portland.
