Au vu du prix de la chambre que dire c’est propre, télévision, ventilateur, parking, céréales et tranches de pain de mie dans la chambre pourboire le petit déjeuner ...!! Très bon rapport qualité prix !!!

à notre arrivée, nous avons eu le droit à un bonjour de la gérante, mais pas du reste du personnel. Après le check in, une femme de ménage nous a donné 2 tranches de pain de mie chacun : le petit déjeuner continental (compris dans le prix) pour le lendemain matin. Dans la chambre se trouvait quelques mini confitures et 3 mini beurres, 2 mini briques de lait (dont 1 déjà entamée), 2 mini briques de jus de fruit, 2 mini paquets de céréales et des petits lait concentrés périmés. Le lendemain la femme de chambre nous a redonné la même chose et quand je lui demandé si je pouvais lui donner nos tasses sales, elle m'a fait comprendre que c'était à nous de les laver. Nous avons dû quémander des mots de passe pour le wifi, mais la connexion était limitée à 30 minutes (ce qui n'était pas précisé dans la description de la chambre). Sur la porte de la salle de bain, un écriteau nous informait que l'eau pouvait mettre jusqu'à 20 minutes pour chauffer car les tuyaux étaient anciens, il n'était pas précisé que la douche écossaise n'était pas en option... La chambre sentait l'anti mite et les meubles étaient recouvert de poussière. Jusqu'à 23H nous avons pu apprécier la télévision (ou la radio) du pub qui se trouve en dessous, ce qui tombait bien, vu que la télé ne captait pas toujours les chaines. On ne s'attendait pas à un hôtel grand luxe, vu le prix, mais il y a des limites, si j'avais sû, j'aurais prix un backpacker moins cher.

You definitely get what you pay for. It is basic budget accommodation at a budget price but as we were only spending the night and out during the day it was adequate. Staff are always busy but friendly and accommodating. The shower pressure is a problem as it is very low but do still work. Sheets were clean and towels are changed daily. There is a communal kitchen for tea, coffee and breakfast cereal for guests to use.

Good place if in a budget. However twin room we stayed in - carpet was filthy, beds uncomfortable toilet door didn’t lock (there was only 1) no soap to wash hands with in the toilet, showers needed a good scrub.

Rooms were average and old but good value for money. The staff were incredibly patient, courteous and helpful in solving problems and on that basis I would stay here again. We spent four nights at this hotel. There was an issue with the shower in our room not working properly and one of the beds was broken. The staff moved us to a better room immediately. The rooms were old like the hotel and could have been cleaned better but the sheets and bathroom were clean which was important. Weeknights were a bit noisy as we staying during harvesting season so the trucks were in and out of Viterra all day and night. Weekends however, were quiet. Overall enjoyed the stay for the price we paid and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Generally it is good for us, cheap and convenient locations plus breakfast. The hotel has a gaming room which is under our room, a bit noisy on Friday night only, other days are pretty quiet. Happy to stay and thank you .

Negatives: Some really bad smells, especially at particular times of the day. The guest kitchen and bathrooms were not clean. No lift. Dirty carpet in kitchen and could use a really good clean. Bright light outside window at night. Positives: Comfortable beds and pillows. Enjoyed the character of the old building. Staff were very helpful, especially in the dining room. Very inexpensive. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and jetty with its beautiful pool.

Compact, comfortable and clean
The Hotel Boston offers very affordable budget accommodation options that are perfectly adequate for travellers who don’t need pampering! The rooms are compact, comfortable and clean. The bonus is the quality food at excellent value for money prices in the hotel’s dining room. I stayed on two occasions in different rooms with en-suite bathroom and both were just fine. Some patience is required for hot water in the shower, but it’s no deal-breaker!

Quaint, Quiet and Convenient
The hotel is very quaint and the sort of thing you look for in a small, affordable vacation spot. It has a great view of the water from the balcony and an attached restaurant and bar with slot machines (pokies) and is right off the main strip from the airport about a 15 minute drive.

Service was great, very helpfull people. Room included a sink. For the cheap price you couldnt ask for more. The bathroom and toilet were on the otherside of the floor which is quite a distance at night for a pee for example. But i enjoyed it!

Pretty good when budgeting
Staff was really friendly, we booked a basic room with shared bathroom but was given an upgrade to a private bathroom. Room was comfortable and clean, came with a continental breakfast in the room which was unexpected. Unfortunately the toilet didn’t work but we were happy to use the one down the hallway. The tv remote didn’t work either but we could still use the buttons on the tv itself. If it wasn’t for the toilet in our ensuite making noises all night it would have been perfect. For the price we paid I’d still happily come back.

Climbing stairs was a worry as was leaving Ute outside front of hotel Room was roomy with big comfortable bed Waiting up to 20mins for hot water made you plan your morning shower Meals downstairs were good. Seniors card useful Breakfast was supplied though no cooking in room Toast items were there but no toast Common room with tv and toaster was a bit below par Smelly and basic New carpet in some of these room as well as a lick of paint would make all the difference

Det fanns inget internet alls på hotellet trots att det stod i beskrivningen för hotellet. Jag hade problem att låsa min dörr varje gång. Överlag inte ett så fräscht hotell bl.a. på grund av smutsiga heltäckningsmattor, men vi alla tycker ju olika om det. Trevlig och relativt hjälpsam personal.
