"This booking was a disaster. The garage entry fob did not work. When we arrived to the unlocked room, the linens were hanging and drying at the front door and the patio. The electrical box in the apartment was opened, and a sharp metal strip wasdangling from the bedroom wall. We requested a room for four people and two beds. We received a queen bed and a futon that one toddler could sleep on. At this point, we requested a refund from the owner, to which he agreed. We immediately returned...

"I adored my stay at the Novotel. We got a suite with a view over the marina and it was bigger than we thought. To start, as soon as we arrived, a man (I didn't have his name), helped us with our luggage. Then, Gilles checked us in and was amazing: he told us everything about the amenities in the hotel. Remembering that we are in Monaco and that I am a nobody, I felt treated like a queen!!! The breakfast had a lot of variety so everyone could find their taste. The food tasted so good. No issue about cleanliness. Even at the bar and restaurant, hosts were kind. This hotel should be at minimum a 4 star-hotel and not 3 star. The sauna and Hammam were also good. The gym was small with maybe only 7-8 equipments but it was fine. My sister and I managed to use them with no problem. I cannot recommend this hotel more. I loved my experience and for the price, it would be my spot whenever I go on vacation to Monaco."

"The Alfred Hotel was perfect for a two night visit to Monaco, and would indeed be great for longer too. Recently refurbished everything was clean, tidy and presentable - everything you would want for your stay. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble - they let us leave our bags with them for the final day too letting us collect them in the evening. The hotel is centrally situated with everywhere in Monaco within walking distance - although it is quite steep with hills and steps. The station is around 5 minutes away with a lift down to the Marina if you prefer. Alfred Hotels Monaco was perfect for our stay and will definitely return."

"I booked last minute after looking at several hotels in the area. Check in was excellent. The receptionist / manager was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Most importantly the bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The boats and the marina was almost in touching distance and the sound of the waves lapping around the boats was very soothing. there are a couple of restaurants nearby which were good. The only drawback is if you are on foot without transport trying to get to a supermarket is tricky. I attempted it until I saw the stairs you need to climb up and gave up.. other than the supermarket location it’s a lovely location and a great hotel. I would go back and try and figure something else out get some groceries. The marina could really benefit from a grocery shop for the boaters and the self caterers in this hotel."
