Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. "Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope their business does well."

"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

"Beautiful property, nice and clean amazing views. The hosts parents went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Only draw back was the YourHouse agency was awful to deal with. They say they will call you right back you don't hear from them in 2 hours. Once they never called back at all. We were not given the proper address just a google maps link which led us to the wrong town. Owner of casa da corona. Get rid of the agency! They are bad for your place. Just rent through Airbnb. We were 10pm middle of nowhere could not find the place. Luckily many locals helped us as YourHouse said they would call us back with assistance but left us homeless. "
