"Don’t let the orange decor keep you from choosing this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of options including eggs made to order. The hotel is within walking distance of the lake and several restaurant options. Unlike some hotels, you have your own A/C control for your room so you can set the temperature for your comfort level. "We stayed overnight at this hotel by chance as our flight back to the UK was cancelled at the last minute. We did not arrive until just before midnight, even so the night staff was very helpful. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was good that they provided toiletries in the rooms, so we didn't have to fully unpack the case. The breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice and a lovely plate of scrambled eggs. Even better the manager gave us both a lift to the bus station in the local big town so that we could get the bus to Ljubljana."

"The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good. Although, charging 20 euro for a cup of buckwheat is ridiculous, as much as I love buckwheat. Plenty of parking and there is a sauna and a large whirlpool. Wonderful location and concept, staff could be a bit more helpful at front desk and in the dining area. Muhr Villa dinner in day two was an amazing experience - another level."
