« This is just the cutest camp close to all the amenities Speculator has to offer! The beds were comfy, great water pressure so nice showers, and the camp was cool with the air conditioning even in the unseasonably warm temperatures the ADK was experiencing the week we were there. The only things on my wish list were a microwave and a little more storage for food (no pantry or empty shelves) and any type of closet for clothes! But these little teeny things would not deter me from renting this home...

« Super comfy bed. Great room with fan and nice windows. Private clean ensuring wet asked for. One thing I would recommend is to bring cone coffee filters for small Mr. Coffee coffee maker. They provided “sachets” but were brought our own coffee and needed to use make shift filter from napkins. Not a big deal. Very responsive hosts! We’ll definitely be back next summer! And probably stay a full week also! »

« Definitely a no frills motel. No air conditioning, the fan in the room didn't work and no TV. We felt the room rate was pretty hefty for what you get. The pool was unusable and the room was quite small. Tried to get the owner to adjust the rate down considerably the above and he was unwilling to do anything. The room was clean but not a great experience. »

« The property served our needs for a one night stay in Caroga Lake. Finding the place was a bit of a nightmare. We had no wireless service in the area and the host did not provide very good directions. As we had no cell phone service, we could not call the host. We ended up going to the pist office and we were fortunate that a gentleman who was picking up his mail helped direct us to the unit otherwise we would have never found it. « This house looks and feels just like the pictures. Nice kitchen and great dinner table for our group. This area of NY is captivating with all the lakes and wilderness for riding a motorcycle and im sure fishing and hiking. When at this house you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Then pull out of the driveway take a left go 500 yes and everything you need. « Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. »
