"The description of the room is misleading as the kitchenette and the outdoor area are not part of your room, but a common area for all of the rooms. There are 3 separate sleeping rooms at Cassa delle Nonna and apprently we got the one not shown in any of the pictures. Large bed was made but had no blanket, just sheets. The single bed was made with the blanket but had not sheets or pillow case. All of the accessories in the room, i.e. the desk, headboard, etc were made out of pallets and were very outdated. The bathroom was updated and nice other than the hot water in the shower was limited. You got nice hot water for a short period of time then it went luke warm. The restaurant they offered breakfast at was a short walk, maybe 8 blocks and had good food and coffee but was extreamly busy and seating was limited but we got a table right away both days."

"Good location (about 15 min walk to central train station and 10-15 min walk into main area of town/restaurants & sights). Area around property was safe & quiet. Small coffee shop around the corner but no other shops/restaurants in the immediate vicinity (if that matters to you). Staff was super helpful in helping us to rent a Vespa for the day and to set up a transfer to Bari airport. Parking on street around property was plentiful. Property itself was clean and spacious with a balcony with a view of the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Absolutely perfect! We stayed here for five nights at the end of a month long vacation and all I can say is WOW! Everything about this property is perfect, from the location to the staff (they are a family) to the beautifully remodeled interior. Just perfect! The location is absolutely walkable to everything you would want to do in Polignano a Mare as well as the train station. The family that owns and runs the hotel are very kind and go out of your way to make your stay comfortable. They told me that they did an extensive four-year remodel on the building under an architects guidance and the interior is spectacular! The stones are original and can be dated back until at least the 1700’s. They did an amazing job of creating a modern space that still captures all of the original attributes of the building. Well done! I can’t say enough good things about the Aeris - you should stay there if you have the chance!"

From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism that immediately made me feel at home. Carola was always attentive, caring, and happy to help with anything I needed, whether it was recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit, or simply making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Federico was equally amazing — friendly, professional, and always available with a smile and positive energy. Together, they create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and welcoming, something that is very rare to find. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and clearly managed with passion and attention to detail. Every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations, and it is obvious that Carola and Federico truly care about their guests and want everyone to have the best possible experience.
