"Second time staying here! Love it, staff is friendly and helpful and property is decent, older but decent. Parking is easy and close to hotel."

"This was our first time at the Horseshoe in Blackhawk; but it certainly won't be the last. Parking was plentiful, check in was quick and the room was nice. Comfortable king bed & the bathroom was a good size. We only ate breakfast here & to be honest is was pretty standard, nothing stood out. The casino is easy to maneuver around and it connects to the Lady Luck casino so no need to walk outside if you don't want to. Overall we were very happy here."

"I enjoyed the super affordable and easy booking of this experience. Having the studio included kitchen was such a wonderful treat, especially considering the low cost. There is no A/C in the room, but it's not really needed; although there is a box fan available in the closet."

"Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Did not have coffee out all day. Breakfast was not always out on time. Always missing something. Claim they we out off products. Bar was closed as the person was out sick, hotel had no replacement for the bartender."

"Beautiful location and the stay was great overall. I really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, but didn't use any other amenities. I believe I was supposed to get a complimentary bottle of water and a drink ticket for the bar though, which I never did, but didn't realize until after. The only thing I didn't like was that I put a Do Not Disturb sign on my door and housekeeping entered anyway, and they took away my food I was saving. Also, I know these are typically old buildings but they really should invest in soft closing doors because you can hear room doors slamming all night, despite having ear plugs. And if you're counting on the the little shop inside the lobby for snacks, don't; they have nothing but off brand protein bars and oatmeal and it was $10 for a bottle of water and a gatorade."
