"We had an amazing two-night stay. Maria and the staff go above and beyond to share restaurant recommendations and insights on the region. The room was comfortable and the pool a nice treat. There are wineries within walking distance and Pinhao is a short drive away. We highly recommend staying at Casa do Santo because it provides an authentic Douro experience that can't be matched."

"My wife and I chose this location for an evening stay after driving through the Duoro valley from Marvao. It was conveniently located, easy to find, clean and the check-in and hospitality were very good. Unfortunately we arrived fairly late, the weather didn't cooperate, and we stayed on a Monday evening so many of the local attractions and restaurants were not open. We did take a long walk through Lamego and it was a pretty, albeit mostly empty town. "

"This beautiful house is in the middle of a Quinta, with absolutely stunning surroundings. Every window have a fantastic view of the hills. The house is very private, with fruit trees (wonderful orange juice in the morning) and large rooms inside. I had some issues communicating with the host. "Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving. It was a nice base to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, relax and enjoy the evening"
