Was great. I should’ve read more that there wasn’t breakfast included but just a walk away is caribou. And you do have a kitchen so you could bring your own breakfast to cook!
Our family loved this place and will definitely be coming back again!

Overall the cabin was cozy, we enjoyed the fireplace, and the surrounding area. We would recommend new mattresses as they were pretty stiff and a bit uncomfortable. The toilet paper and tissues were very thin. The decor is dated and we could also see daylight through the chinking in the logs and along the floor where it meets the walls. The furnace filter was last replaced in November 2024. We were sad to see the hot tub did not work, apparently they were decommissioned quite awhile ago. Note the amenities did not mention a hot tub but the photos indicated potential. The road into the resort which is right outside the chalet we rented does not have a posted speed limit. We felt most of the traffic was speeding through the area. Maybe some speed bumps would help prevent the speeders and provide safety to guests since there is no sidewalk to the resort and restaurants. The staff was friendly.
After seeing some fairly negative reviews I was a little reluctant to book a stay, but I ended up taking the gamble and I’m glad I did, because I’ve gone to Breezy Point before and always had a great time, and this was a much more affordable option, right on the property!
The negative reviews mention not having luck with their reservations, I am going to chalk this up to user error. I booked through Expedia and called the property to confirm they got my reservation, they confirmed they did and the staff was nice and informative.
Other reviews mention a confusing check in process, they could probably make it a little more obvious on where to go, but when I called they told me to check in at the Pelican Center right across the street from the main entrance at Breezy Point. Check in was smooth, staff was friendly.
The room we stayed in was an awesome value for what we paid for it! It was just my wife and I but we had a lot of space, nice living room area, with a kitchenette, nice room with a jacuzzi and big king size bed. Everything was clean.
Our room was right next to the indoor pool + hot tub area, which… can be a double edge sword. The convenience of the pool being so close to the room was nice, occasionally when it was busy certain families and their kids were a little loud, but it wasn’t too bad.
The only downside of the pool area was the little rocks on the flooring were loose so it was often to step on them if you didn’t have shoes on.
We had a great time!
Cabins are clean and kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook meals. Towels and linens provided . Cabins are outdated, but nice layout and clean. Will stay here again.
Highly recommend not staying here, as there are much better options for the price. The booking was misleading, as photos made it look like I was booking one of the lakeside condos, but ended up in the poolside area as other reviewers mentioned. This alone wouldn't have been a big deal, but the room was unreasonably hot and humid when I got there, wallpaper was peeling off as other reviews mention, the bed/bedding was very old and uncomfortable, the tub was dirty, and the shower made a high pitched squealing noise the entire time it was on. The deadbolt on the door also wouldn't lock, as the door was misaligned. I ended up checking out early and finding other accommodations for the rest of my stay.
It sounds like many of the rooms/buildings are now owned by a timeshare company, and they have not put any effort into updating or maintaining the rooms.
Check in was confusing. Maybe a better sign outside that said "the Lodge" instead of something about a pelican.... Then there was a rude guy pressuring about buying time share stuff which we were not interested in.

They try to sell you a time share. The jets didn’t work in the hot tub in one building. The other building they were draining the hot tub. Thanks to Expedia though! Check out at Breezy Point is 10am but Expedia says 11am. They had to honor it!

Place was quiet, fully stocked with essential including plenty of towels and toilet paper. I was not able to turn on tv in bedroom but was able to in living room. Was not a big deal as busy doing other things. It would have been nice to be able to access the shuttles but was not included due to separation of company. Old folks should note no elevator and many stairs to access rooms. Property is outdated but clean. Would stay again.
The pool and hot tub was shut down the second day of our stay. Our kids were not happy about this. The building is trashy (peeling wallpaper, gross looking stains all over floors or walls, trash randomly all over, poor landscaping, etc) Paying as much as we did for this stay and as guests you’re STILL expected to collect and take out your own trash, strip all the bedding and put it by the door, run dishwasher, and collect any towels in a pile is absolutely ridiculous. This is the hotel/housekeepings responsibility in my opinion. I have no issue with cleaning up after ourselves (which we always do) but to be given a list of things we had to do or you’d get charged is insane. When setting up the reservation checkout was listed as 11am. The info given to us after almost 40 minute wait to check in said 10am. Maybe have those times to match? Even being acknowledged to get ice from the overpriced bar for coolers was like pulling teeth. As we watched the bar back dump at least 6 large buckets of ice into the lake. It’s frozen water, get over yourself. Literally everything is priced way over cost. Making your nut on products you offer is one thing but to price gouge so badly is very disappointing. Needless to say we will not be returning to this property.

The check in was very odd. There was no notification in the reservation that we had to go to a business office to pick up keys. The address provided was for the actual unit and the business office was several blocks away. It was not in the resort neighborhood that contained the condo. The condo was nice but it had snowed and no one attempted to clean off the front walk and stairs, that were very slippery. Also, there were two vehicles parked in from of the garage, making it difficult to park in front of the garage to our condo. We also were not told if we could use the garage or not.
Booked The room didn't get the same room that we booked, not even close. We booked a lake side walk out with the patio, and we received day inside room.No outside patio, and I'm pretty far from the lake. The guy with glasses that worked the front desk was very rude, and unprofessional. When we asked if we could check-in early, I've traveled all over the United States and many times you can check-in a little bit early. If your stuff is clean, not here, he were rude. The property that we've stated is very run down four b and a time share place, the ceilings Leaked wallpaper falling off the walls, no elevator have to go app 5 flights of stairs carrying your stuff, but that is why we booked a walk and walk out 2 level townhome not what they gave us.

High Anxiety Episode.
We had prepaid. When we arrived to the property we thought we had booked, there was no record of our reservation. The contact phone number on the reservation was not accurate, it was some guy's personal number in Los Angeles. For Hotels/Expedia Help, had to first go through AI Chat, then some unhelpful chat with a guy named "Christian" who disconnected me without my problem being resolved but did give me a "1-800" number to call. The call was awful, had to go through many unrelated menus before finally being asked to start inputing my data which I didn't readily have available and I gave up. Finally, through a stroke of luck, was able to discover our reservation was instead at a timeshare management company at a different location that was incorrectly using the name of a building they didn't own in the Hotels.com listing, and after we drove up there, they tried to charge us again though we had already paid weeks in advance.
