Hotel was under renovation and this was not listed on any site. Upon checking in I was told the pool, fitness center, and other amenities were not available. While the room was nice the 2/3 of the towels had holes in them like an animal had eaten through them. They were clearly worn out and should have been tossed. The coffee pot in the room was missing pieces and the kitchen area was missing most of its silverware. There was just too much wrong to keep listing. Maybe after the remodel they will have it all figured out.

Under construction, pool closed and since this was a trip for little kids to swim, it would have been nice to know prior so we could make other arrangements. Evening appetizers advertised didn’t exist. Rate should reflect amenities that you don’t have.

I paid for a King bed, I did NOT get a king bed. The hot tub was out of service. No towels in the pool area. I was supposed to have a bath tub and it was a shower.

We are frequent concert attendees and ALWAYS book here! Not only is the location incredibly convenient for any Civic Center events, the staff is always welcoming and helpful. The new renovations are top notch and this is by far one of my favorite hotels to stay at! We will definitely return!

Was a last minute book, needing to stay somewhere for the night. Price was decent compared to what else I could find in the area. Place was a lot nicer in person than in photos I thought! Overall good stay, would stay again!

Would definitely stay again
The hotel was undergoing some major renovations as was evident by the mountain of old furnishings and appliances in the East end parking lot. Well that did not affect me in anyway the only issue I had was that my room, being close to the elevator, did not have Wi-Fi working during my entire stay. It was necessary to go to the lobby to use wi-Fi. Everything else I thought was stellar including the morning breakfast. I would definitely stay again

booked in mid October 2023.They canceled on us at the last minute. Saying water main broke. While I was still in the lobby they were checking other people in. I think they just gave me an excuse so they could charge someone else the extra $100 the rooms were going for that night.and they had my payment for 3 months and im sure that money made them some earned intrest and by them making money off of me and me getting no service it is atleast fraud if not theft of sevice

Had issues checking in because nobody at front desk. Coffee left from last guest in room, and fire alarm going off at 4am. I've had better stays at much cheaper hotels.

The property is in a perfect location for events at the Civic Center. The staff was pleasant & courteous. With that being said the original room booked was not available due to remolding. When checking in the desk clerk said they didn’t understand why Expedia was allowing that room to be booked. We settled for a king room with pullout couch. The pullout was unacceptable as a sleeping option. The hotel is also very worn and used. The bathroom was not very clean. There were also people loitering in the parking lot.

We stayed as a family. My kids loved the pool and we loved how big the rooms were! As a family of 5, there was plenty of room for us. It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve stayed at, but we felt like it was safe and clean enough for our toddler to scoot around the room.

DO NOT STAY HERE! BED BUGS ARE A REAL POSSIBILITY.
I'm not one that would usually write a review, but I felt that I must this time, to save those they make look to book at the Staybridge Suites in Peoria, IL. I booked a 2 room suite for my family. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel did not look as modern or clean as the pictures showed, but didn't get overly concerned at that point. Once inside our room, I did notice a lot of dust throughout and an odd pink substance on the side of a door. Again, not what I would prefer, but I'm not going to complain. I started getting ready for bed and went into the one bedroom only to discover a bug crawling on the top of the duvet. Upon closer inspection, it appeared the bug was very likely a bed bug. This is when I started to panic, as the last thing I want is to be exposed to bed bugs and then travel back home with new little friends. My daughter videoed the bug, I bagged it up, and then proceeded to explore the sheets and mattresses. Luckily, I did not discover anymore bugs in my search, but honestly I was doing it quickly and just wanted out of the room. I took the bug to the front desk and he asked what I wanted to do? What I wanted to do??? I want to stay somewhere that is bug free. I told him I did not feel comfortable getting another room and would like a refund. He said he didn't charge me anything yet. I explained that I had already been charged by Hotels.com. I was then told that Hotels.com would have to reimburse me. Hotels.com worked with me after speaking to the hotel.

Great location to Civic center
Service was really good once the line went down at checkin. Upgraded our room due to construction to a nice suite. Only issue was the hard floors were sticky.

This property was horrible! I wouldn't even give this property 1 star. When we arrived, we were given a room with 1 bed and a pullout sofa. I told my husband we booked a 2 bed room. He left to get a different room. At that point, my kids and I discovered there wasn't an active smoke detector over the bed- just the wires hanging down. We also noticed the bathroom door had a huge bar on it. We could not close the door. Upon looking closer, we noticed the door was off the hinge and the staff put the bar on the door so the guest could literally lift up one end of the door to drag it shut, My daughter then discovered a dirty sock in the nightstand drawer in the bedroom. My husband returned and said that we were unable to move because the hotel was sold out. Nope, not ok. We started showing him all the problems and it was at this point we noticed the mirror behind the bedroom door was filthy with handprints and smudges all over the bottom half. My husband went back downstairs to talk to the front desk clerk. We told him there was no way we would stay in that room. After a few minutes, the clerk offered him another room (same style with 1 bed & a pullout sofa) down the hall. It was late, so we figured we would check it out. Upon walking in, I noticed the fridge looked tinted dark. It wasn't the coloring, it had a massive stain down the front of it! This hotel was a pigsty & I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy!!

Staff was friendly and everything was clean. At 7:00 a.m. this morning they started construction on a room directly above us so we could not sleep in. The breakfast wasn’t great but it was free so it’s whatever. Overall because of the price and how it was clean I would stay again.

They were in the middle of remodeling the hotel an the Hot tub was out of service an the staff was friendly like normal hotel had to change whole vacation around for an family emergency. So got in very very late an they still had my room ready. An check out went smooth like normal hotel the only reason i went there was for the pool an hot tub.
