The Mill Inn is extremely welcoming and the pies are delicious. Met several people who have been returning for years. Our 3 dogs certainly enjoyed it. John was very hospitable and we will certainly make a return journey. Worth noting the uneven flooring upstairs that could cause issues for the unstable first thing in the morning and steep short stepped staircase requires caution when descending. We spent three great nights at Ingle Neuk with our two dogs. The pub, which is just a mile away, was really dog friendly and serves some great specials. Keswick is only a short drive away and again is amazingly dog friendly. The cottage was comfortable and quaint and the owner, John, welcomed us warmly and explained how the cottage worked.
