Peaceful Pauanui
Family break in lovely Pauanui. Motel is in a great location near to shops/restaurants and short walk to beach or mini golf. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Facilities are good….lovely pool area and tennis court and new games room. Would be happy to return. Carole is lovely…made us and our dog Dexter very welcome.

We had a great stay as a young family. Rooms were clean and bedding lovely. Just across the road from the shops including supermarket, takeaway and two restaurants (book early!). The kids loved the playground and pool. Thanks so much Carole!

Great stay in Pauanui
A very peaceful location close to the shops and cafes. Very comfortable and well equiped. It is great to stay somehwre with comfortable seating for reloaxing.

Great location to beach, shops, international lakes golf course. It’s worth going to the lakes golf course for a meal(best pizzas) hosts jarred & Chloe are amazing. Beautiful golf course & pro shop packed with items for all levels of golfers. Would recommend this motel to others

We had a very pleasant stay at Pauanui Pines Motor Hotel. It started with a warm welcome when we arrived and the room was excellent. Big, well equipped with the addition of a little table and chairs in front where we could enjoy the weather!

The property was very clean and pleasant. The bed big was so comfy. It was nice and quiet and centrally located in the town. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved the cabin and will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Amazing place to stay. So peaceful and beautiful coastline - great for recovering from jet lag. David and Julie (owners) very friendly and helpful. Only complaint - should have stayed longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay here as a family of 4. The rooms were immaculately maintained and provided all of the comforts of a superior hotel. The staff could not accommodate us more and we enjoyed the facilities of the property including the tennis court and pool. The property is across the road from the shopping village and provide bikes to ride around town or the short distance to the beach. Highly recommended - thank you.

This is a nice relaxing place with good facilities. Very quiet. Shower was good with plenty of room, temperature and power. Bed was comfortable and rooms of a good size. Lounge area was nice with good tv. Reception was good and staff helpful. It is located near to shops and restaurants but please check closing times as they are not necessarily open every day and do not stay open late. It is quite a walk to the beach. WIFI was not good. Pretty unusable in fact. I suspect this was as a result of trying to provide signal to an area rather than one location. Rooms are chalet style, dotted around the site. The door was difficult to lock and unlock. Very fiddly. Could have done with some instruction on how it worked. Tea and coffee provided. I didn’t use the kitchen to prepare any food but it was clean and looked adequate. If you are looking for somewhere in Pauanui to relax and chill then this is an excellent option.

Somewhere quiet
I needed a few days away somewhere quiet, and that was what I got. The motel was as promised in the ads, and the shopping center is a few hundred metres away across the road. The first night I slept eleven hours it was so peaceful. Unlike some motels your unit is only serviced when it is requested, so I was undisturbed unlike other places I have been where you ae almost forced out for servicing. My only complaint is that the unit was cold at night (it being mid-winter) and the heater only enough to take the edge off the cold. I intend to stay here on future occasions.

A nice motel unit. The unit was very clean and well presented. The unit was private. The bed was comfortable. The room heater worked well and heated the room quickly. The bathroom and the kitchen were well equipped.The breakfast that was supplied was good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location close to shops and resturants but very quiet. Easy parking alongside the unit. I would recommend this place to anyone.
