"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is cold, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice addition. The room was cleaned daily. The food is delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely! "Nusa Bay Resort is “rustic” style accommodation in an incredibly beautiful, out of the way spot in Bali. The resort is very clean but somewhat dated and tired. I could not speak highly enough about the staff and the service! The food is very good and reasonably priced for a remote location. There is abundant wildlife and a nice reef to snorkel on at your doorstep. If you like nature and something other that Kuta/Nusa Dua/Ubud/Canngu, I would highly recommend."

"10 out of 10\. The complex has a pleasing layout - surrounded by padi fields and a small pool. Sitting in lounge chairs, we saw many birds (rails, herons and egrets, and swiftlets). "2 bed room villas with kitchen , and private pools on ocean , free breakfast , staff very friendly and helpful . There is not much to do besides trips to island to snorkel and beach snorkeling . Lots of restaurants, cheaper rates in wet season but higher humidity, and sometimes lots of trash in ocean . There were some mosquitoes in room but they had nets . I stayed 10 nights should have stayed 4 . "

"What a fantastic place to relax. From the first moment, when you drive down the bamboo tunnel, you just know its going to be great. Stayed for a couple of nights in a Cliff Tent Pool Villa, which had great views across the ocean to Menjangan Island. The Cliff Tents are well spaced out, so it is very relaxing. Tents are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Food at both the restaurant and as Room service was excellent, and we had a delicious floating breakfast for both mornings, sat watching deer over the water in the West Bali National Park.. Would highly recommend this place for a getaway, and we already have another booking for our next stay. Just remember that there is not a lot else in this area, other than a snorkelling trip to the island, and you will not be dissapointed"
