Located on a quite road between Amish and Non-Amish neighbors. Parking for 2 vehicles is provided on site. Please be careful pulling out of the driveway as there is a hill to the left blocking your view. 6.9 miles from Dutch Wonderland 5.5 miles from Sight & Sound Parking is limited to 2 vehicles in the driveway at any given time. If you have more, please let us know and we can arrange parking next door. Additional rules 1\. Quiet hours: Between 10 pm and 7 am. Please be considerate of our neighbors. 2\. Access: Guests are allowed access to the property with the exception of the basement and garage. 3\. Alcohol: Wine and beer consumption is allowed on the property in moderation. No hard alcohol (liquors, whiskey, bourbons, etc.) No drunkenness. 4\. Drugs: No drugs or illegal substances on any kind, including marijuana. 5\. Smoking: Allowed outside only. NO smoking in the home. Do not dispose of buds on the ground. A $200 cleaning fee will be assessed for violation of this policy. 6\. Behavior: No foul language, inappropriate, lewd, or provocative behavior. Please dress modestly. 7\. Trash: Please dispose of trash and pet waste in appropriate containers. 8\. Beautiful decor, immaculately clean and had a tranquil peaceful atmosphere. We found everything we needed for our stay, towels in bathroom and a kitchen stocked with all the usual plus a complimentary coffee bar ! Close to stores, restaurants, grocery stores and attractions (We went to a performance at Sight and Sound Theater and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant in the Steamboat Hotel). This gem is located a few miles from the shopping area, on a country road , across the street from beautiful corn field. We saw and heard the occasional clip clip of horses hooves as Amish buggies passed by. We have recommended this property to several friends who will be going to Sight and Sound Theater, as well as some friends who wanted a new place to go for fall leaf peeping. From the living room with the big window to see the horse and buggies go by, to the back porch to grill and visit, it was a lovely place to stay between Sight and Sounds and other family activities! Very clean, had all the amenities listed on website. Enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, cooked on the brand new grill. Don’t want to stay in a hotel anymore, unless we absolutely have to. This cottage is very clean, very welcoming and comfortable. In addition, it has a beautiful view of rolling farmland.
