"This is huge property but ample amenities for all, elevators do get crowded at peak times but that’s all I could notice. Microwaves, water ice dispensers and laundry room ! Very well thought of and conveniently placed across this big big high rise building."

"Amazing stay! The property sits right on the beach. Loved the Mai Tai bar and Surf Lanai - the pink pancakes were truly delicious. The staff was incredible and really elevated our stay there. The room was gorgeous - we had previously stayed at the Sheraton right across the way, and it doesn’t have the same historic feel like the Royal Hawaiian does. Definitely recommend!"

"We arrived at our room (21613) to find the fridge was warm, and when we walked into the bathroom there was a very unpleasant odour. After spending about an hour with maintenance staff trying to resolve the issues, we were eventually moved to a new room. The new room was much better overall, however the bathroom extraction fan was not working either. My only other concern was the cleanliness around the toilet area — the tiles on either side of the toilet clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly, as there was visible urine residue left from previous guests. Breakfast at Eight Restaurant was also disappointing. My coffee order was forgotten, and after waiting around 40 minutes, I asked about it. I then watched the waiter flick back through several pages to find the order. Once it was finally made, it sat on the counter for several more minutes until I eventually went up and collected it myself. The staff were polite and did try to help, but overall there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail with both housekeeping and service, which made the stay less enjoyable than expected."

"The property was nice and very unique. It was very quiet and comfortable. The food, however, was terrible. The lack of service at the pool was not great either. If they could fix those two things it would be so much nicer."

"It was a great hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location most esp is close to everything. Beach restaurants stores are walking distance, which made it great. And the vive in the area is amazing. You feel safe and secure. I wish we didnt have to pay for parking . As not all.customers Or it should be discounted if your a customer.but i guess they have to compensate for the maintenence of the garage. But overall i love the place and will definitely stay again if ever we come back "
