Orkney Springs Vacation Packages

The check-in was a bit of a challenge because our keycards would not open the door. We drove back to check in desk and they programmed brand new keys and that did not work so we had to call security to let them open the entrance door to the condos. They could not figure out why the door could not be opened, but our condo door opened and we got in. They promised to fix it but never returned, so we went to bed with the entry door unlocked. We ended up having to call again the following day to ask them to fix it. Which they came and did. That second night , we did not get much sleep because a load noise sounded as if was coming from the a boiler room every 20 mins and lasted about 6 seconds would jar us out of our sleep. We didn’t bother to call because we honestly thing they would take care of it so we just waited to leave the following morning. The condo itself was clean and spacious and the appliances worked ok, and the staff was ok. Beautiful property and relaxing atmosphere. Still not sure if we’ll be returning.

The resort is very family friendly! Many parks, pools, so many activities! We had deer outside of our place daily it was great! The views were amazing. The only bad review is the cleanliness. I mean the walls were dirty, many cobwebs/dust. The floor needed a vacuum when we got there. A dead roach welcomed me when we walked into one of the rooms. They have a checkout checklist of things you need to do. I completely understand cleaning up after selves but it would be nice if the resort would make sure these villas are clean!

Check-in was quick. However, we could not get into our gated community. Our key cards didn’t work on the gate nor the rental. Security sent and got new keys, they still didn’t work. They moved us next door. Went through 5 keys before one worked. There was a wash cloth in the kitchen floor upon arrival of the first rental.

Pet friendly great grounds

Massanutten has always been a beautiful place to visit and rooms are nice. Never lets me down!!!
