Best Western Columbia River Waterfront Hotel Astoria
10/10 Excellent
"I loved that the hotel is right on the river walk, and has a beautiful view of the river. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable. My boys said the pull out couch was not, but that is expected. I LOVED hearing the sea lions all day and night, but it bothered my husband. The front desk does provide ear plugs if it does get too noisy when you sleep. As a picky hotel goer, I would definitely book here again. "
"The bed is very comfortable. There is no air conditioning but there is a nice breeze from the windows and an overhead fan. Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It has the quaint feel of an older style building with modern charm. Many restaurants and breweries just a short walk away."
"Really cool 50’s decor. Each room has its own art posters. Beds were comfy.
Staff was very helpful.
Breakfast was carb heavy but they did have home baked muffins and fruit was fresh. "
"No breakfast room is clean and nice but they didn’t control the other guests. It was noisy. They had a coffee carafe in the lobby, but no coffee. Staff was very polite and very efficient beds were too hard I will give it a C+."
Fittingly located along the Columbia River, tucked under a tall bridge, this monument celebrates people who loved or made their livelihood on the water.
