As we were staying on a Saturday evening we were able to book a table in advance at what was a very popular venue. Would definitely stay when in the area in the future. »

« For a simple stay over this is an excellent pub with rooms, nothing fancy but very welcoming. all rooms basic but en suite and have all that is required for a simple stay. In the bar/restaurant the food is good and the beer is as well. Wi Fi available throughout but can be a little patchy in the bedrooms. Breakfast is cooked to order with good fresh ingredients and is first rate. I stay here frequently and will continue to do so. »

« I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. « Good location with small parking area. Very welcoming staff, offering helpful advice on local area. The room itself was of very high standard and lacked nothing that I needed for my stay. Highly recommend the superb cooked breakfast for a small extra cost. »

« The host was very helpful. She was very flexible in allowing us to pick up the keys early on the day of our check in. Despite there being a storm the weekend we stayed, the room was fantastic, lovely breakfast in the morning, and stunning views. If in the area, would definitely look to book again. Thanks. »
