"My friend and I had a very nice time during our stay at Endheri Sunset guest house. The staff were friendly and charming. The island was mostly very beautiful. "What a lovely guesthouse in Dhigurah. We spent 6 nights here and tbh we could stay here forever. Felt right at home from the start. "Besonders schön war der Blick aufs Meer! Zudem hat das Personal bei allem geholfen und war sehr freundlich. Man konnte zwischen maledivischen und kontinentalen Frühstück wählen. Zu meinem Zeitpunkt gab es draußen bis in die Nacht Bauarbeiten, was ein wenig laut war, aber mich persönlich nicht all zu sehr gestört hat. Mir hat im Zimmer ein Mülleimer gefehlt. Das Wasser ist sehr schwefelhaltig und mein Schmuck wird hat sich nach 5min verfärbt. Ansonsten war ich aber zufrieden mit der Unterkunft....

"This property is very recommendable. It is very clean. The food is done with love. The employees are very attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, the infrastructure (e.g. beaches) is not really usable due to religious reasons. Burning waste in the neighborhood sometimes causes odor problems. Combustion should also be optimized here for environmental reasons (this is a task for the local public administration). Overall, the accommodation is definitely worth recommending. "Banyan Villa is a wonderful place to stay! I really enjoyed my time there and the very homey feel of the villa. The staff, especially Husnee, Ashraf and Habib are all so incredibly friendly, accomodating and I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. The villa was very clean, the food was wonderful, very healthy and so fresh. Thank you to all the staff at Banyan Villa for making our stay in Dhangethi so wonderful and memorable! We will definitely be back! "

"Stayed 6 nights at the Machchafushi resort. An amazing experience overall. Great location with friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the stay and food. The room was spotless and the minibar daily replenished. Siva and Shafiq at the bar made some excellent mocktails and Yuvi explained everything to us on arrival. Credits to Nasru from house keeping . An overall great experience. Very unique given we had never stayed before on an over the water villa. "

"Our stay had highs and lows. The best part was the incredible staff - always friendly and helpful. The hotel was also spotless, thanks to the amazing cleaner. Another highlight was its location, just steps from Bikini Beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful shoreline. However, there were several issues. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view but got a small window facing a brick wall. Management first denied the mistake, then blamed Expedia, despite Expedia confirming the hotel controlled the listing. The hotel refused to take responsibility or offer compensation. The bathroom had a persistent drain smell, which returned every time we used the shower. With no balcony or large window, airing it out was impossible. Breakfast was meant to be European-style but was a strange mix of foods—though you could order an omelette. Many excursions were cancelled due to low sign-ups. The whale shark trip, advertised as exclusive for hotel guests, was shared with 16 others from different hotels, some of whom paid less than we did. It lasted seven hours instead of four, with no proper food provided. The house reef excursion was lovely, but guides seemed more focused on filming for social media than helping guests. While the staff were fantastic, management lacked accountability. With better organisation, this hotel could be amazing."
