Location was perfect for strolling through Salamanca. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

This was a great location for enjoying Salamanca. Very short strolll to the Plaza Mayor.

Excellent location

Pros: I like that it's comfortable and well placed.
Cons: They could include breakfast in their rate. At this point, one can stay with or without breakfast, and adding it costs €8.50 per person.
Location: Very good location and an easy walk from everything worth seeing in Salamanca, like the University, both cathedrals, the library and Plaza Mayor.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location of the place is just hard to beat. A few steps from the Calle Rua, one goes one way and reaches the cathedral, or the other way and ends in the Plaza Mayor.

Awesome place, love the location
Posted Jul. 15, 2018 on HotelsWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel while attending the AATSP conference in Salamanca. The location is fabulous, right in the middle of things, mere steps from the Plaza Mayor. The management was wonderful to us and extremely sweet and considerate with my friend who had gotten an ankle injury hiking El Camino de Santiago. Breakfast was super awesome as well since it was downstairs in an old Roman ruin and offered anything you would possibly want for breakfast. Just don’t try to go down before 8:00, the lady didn’t like that. Amazingly she remembers how everyone likes their coffee! The room was great, had air conditioning. I would definitely go there again in a heartbeat, oh laundry place is just around the corner.

Great position in the old part of city
Posted Apr. 20, 2018Excellent position for sightseeing a street away from the Plaza Mayor. Nice slightly old fashioned feel hotel - in a good way, with very friendly staff. Quite at night with a good choice for breakfast.

Excellent hotel, great location

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing except for the lack of parking if you are traveling in your own car...a minor inconvenience, having to use the nearby multilevel parking .
Location: Superb location, great shopping, restaurants , and incomparable sights in one of the world's most historical and ancient unversity cities
Our favorite hotel in Salamanca, a city where we lived for several years in the past and a city that we love and have visited every year for the last 45 years; There are larger and more luxurious hotels but for the combination of location, comfort, cleanliness,price and friendliness ,the Rua can't be beat; Located right next to the Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city, it is extremely clean, and offers every comfort expected of its class ; An excellent buffet breakfast was included in our package; Only hitch is that it has no parking of its own although there is a large municipal parking a couple of blocks away; All of the city's magnificent sights, of which there are many, are within walking distance, as are many restaurants and stores.
