« The Mermaid Inn is one of our favorite motels. The rooms are decorated with a Mermaid/nautical style with some retro appliances. Overall gives a very homey feeling. Rooms are very clean, staff is really friendly and helpful. Situated between a gas station/store and a Mexican restaurant you have access to fresh food and all the amenities you might have forgotten to pack. Like much of the Long Beach peninsula, the Mermaid is quiet and laid back...but still in walking distance to "downtown" and...

« The rooms were very spacious and nice and clean and staff was super friendly pool was nice and easily accessible loved that had an option to have a conjoing rooms for more space if needed. I think the only down fall we had was the pull out couch bed mattress was very uncomfortable. We will definitely be back »

« The Host is excellent. The vibe is excellent. The only drawback honestly was the shower set up. The shower head would spray out the door when opening the sliding door and turning it on to the warm setting. Other than that? I’d say five stars. There was a 1 1/2” mold area forming at the corner of the ceiling above the window at the front of the room. Check at the corner of ceiling to wall above said window. Easy remedy. »

« A simply excellent setup. The higher floor can be intimidating, but provides for an amazing view. The seating area for morning coffee and evening drinks was a relaxing haven. The appliances and kitchen amenities were spot on. The bed was also great. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space. »
