"We only stayed one night at Rockaway and upon checkin immediately wished it was a longer visit! The staff in the office were so friendly, our room was huge, and you can’t beat the views and beach access! The only thing we wish we would have had was another fan, but no extra ones were available in the office (one was provided, but with using the bedroom plus Murphy bed in living area we would have put one in each space). While we didn’t use it being there only one night, it was so great to see options to checkout board games and DVDs in the office to make stays more enjoyable for downtime. Lovely area and would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Nice ocean front motel 😍 it’s our second time staying there this summer, second time we were on the second floor, unfortunately.. mom is 90, it was not that comfortable for her to climb on the stairs."

"This hotel is a sleeper!! It's awesome! The hotel is conveniently located and has a good breakfast. The room is average size, and there's an elevator that makes it easy to get stuff to your room. At first sight, I thought the bed would be uncomfortable, but it was excellent!! When we checked in, Diane offered us homemade chocolate cookies and they were delicious!! "

"Great place. It felt like we were staying at a family cabin. The shower was surprisingly fantastic. What a view. The pictures just don't capture it. We went up and down the coast and we all agree this is the best location. It's far enough away from the 101 that it feels secluded. Easily walk to the beach and cafes. We had coffee and breakfast each morning at Current Cafe and it was fantastic. Close enought to Tillamook to have a lot of dinner choices. We can't wait to return."

"The house is older than I gathered from online photos, but was fine. The kitchen has everything you might need, much better-supplied than most places. Books, games,lots of streaming stations on big TV. Wood fireplace in L.R. & propane firepit on deck.We were greeted with a nice guest basket in the frig: wine, cheese, chocolate. Enough pillows & blankets for an army. Queen bed in 1 room. Other has bunk beds with full-sized mattresses-actually quite comfy. Notebook with lots of info, how-to's and local ideas. Unless there were stairs we didn't find (we looked), beach is a bit longer walk, including a section of hill as steep coming back up as it is going down. It was a nice beach with lots of people on it. You can drive there is about 5 minutes-free parking lot & toilets. The manager (& owner I think) was easy to reach, & flexible about check-in & -out times. Got directions (easy) etc from her ahead of time. Nice place to hang out."
