Palais à Oak Hill

« This is a beautiful independent apartment attached to the owner's home. It is well stocked, very clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It is in a very quiet area, reasonably easy to access, yet not far to town. The host is very responsive so communication is good. There is a washer/dryer in unit (bring your own detergent). The kitchen is nice and fully stocked, though we didn't really use it. The king size bed was very comfortable. There are lots of windows so good light comes in,...

« Super cute place, spotless, and in a great location! It was easy to get into town and to all the national park spots. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! »

« I'd like to start with, we appreciated a place to stay. Id also like to say had it been warmer my grandkids would have at least been able to play outside. So the yard being there was nice. We did each have a space to sleep. We did experience quite a few issues.Upon getting to the property the front door was not secured, my daughter got there first with 3 little kids, so she waited for me and my husband to get there so my husband could check the peoperty before going in. I did contact the owner...

« Just like Grandma's house. Easy access full of charm. »

« As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely. »

« The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable beds and plenty of towels and a great hot shower. Excellent hot tub but a little exposed to the road and neighbors. »

« The place was ideally located and the accommodations were nice, Danielle was very responsive with any questions we had! »

« Quite community located next to the white water companies and the gorge bridge. Perfect weekend getaway »

« What a beautiful home - this house makes you feel like you are back in time to the 1920s (in the best way!). It is very spacious for groups (we had 7 adults and two kids), and everything was super simple. Checkin was easy, check out is a breeze. It’s a great location too - just close enough to most of the NRG attractions but away enough for the peacefulness and getaway feel. We would absolutely stay again, and fell in love with West Virginia and New River Gorge! »

« We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed. It was super clean and conveniently located too. The host responded to communication timely. »

« Good location away from the freeway. Quiet. Good night sleep »

« The property was under construction. However, there was no warning of this during the reservation process and there was no discount offered for this. The shower was not clean. The manager was not helpful when we checked in. »
