Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Relax and take in the fresh air at this tasteful oceanview home. There's plenty of room for everyone to come in and enjoy a rest, with plenty of entertainment around every corner. Living rooms on each floor provide wonderfully curated spaces to relax - there's a balcony upstairs and a gas fireplace downstairs! From there, relax in the sunroom or unwind on the sizable outdoor deck. Of course, the bright full kitchen indoors (complete with a French door refrigerator, a dishwasher for easy cleanup, and all the small appliances you may need) is a great place to cook up the rest of dinner. Gather around the piano (or around the fire table) on the lower level for lovely tunes or a sing-along. From the stained glass front door, turn right and head up the first staircase to find the home's first set of bedrooms. The primary is straight ahead - this charming bedroom features a three-sided view of the surrounding area. Just next door, the second bedroom features a flatscreen TV and a four-window view that includes a partial view of the ocean. The nearby full bathroom with a shower/tub combination can serve the needs of these guests. Make your way through the upstairs living room to find the main bedroom of the home. This lovely bedroom suite features extra seating, a gas fireplace, and a private balcony with an ocean view. The fourth bedroom is down the set of stairs from the main bedroom - complete with its own landing, this bedroom features a wide view of the front yard, a bright vanity, and a flatscreen TV. The nearby full bathroom features a standalone shower. We were excited to enjoy the view but notices 2nd floor windows were all dirty/dusty, including its screens. Aside from that, this was family friendly house with close access to the beaches and groceries. Bring your own drinking water as filter in the fridge was taken out which prevents you from using it altogether. It would be great floor was mopped nicely. Note that beds only sleep 8 though it lists more, there were only enough utensils for 6, and coffee pot only makes a few cups at a time. House needs tlc...door knob on bathroom just fell off. There are 3 Ring cameras and cleaning lady showed up before we even pulled out of the drive and 40 min before checkout...felt like being watched. No propane in gas tanks for fire or grilling. House has good bones and was cleaned extremely well from the inside. However the property overall screams neglect. The winds constantly blow in sand from the beach which makes it hard to maintain and that plays a role. But furniture and appliances were aging, curtains were torn, bathroom doors didn't latch properly, window screens had gaping holes and many of the doors and windows were stuck. The master bedroom door has no lock and no curtains on the large west facing windows. The home was ready for us as promised and had all the amenities promised. Most of all, the views were phenomenal. Waking to the Puget Sound every morning and all the wildlife it presented, made our stay unforgettable. Aug 14, 2023 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Whidbey Island Stay Location worked well while visiting nephew at the Whidbey Island NAS, Ferry to Olympic 20 minutes. If visiting in August caution house does not have A/C unfortunately did not catch that when we booked, and house was not as clean as we would have expected. the views are incredible, great sunsets. No beach access as there is about 160 foot drop. Thank you for the use of your house. ##### Robyn K. The views of the water were breathtaking. The house was very clean and well supplied. Our only complaint was the number of stairs to get to every room. We had a few disabled people in our group, if they had had to stay in the house it would have been very hard for them. we were very pleased with the house. ##### Dorothy D. Good Stay but could've been better House was great. Cleanliness was not great. Beds were made, looked cleaned but there weren't. There was hair on the pillow cases and sand in the "freshly" made bed. Floors were sticky under the couch there were beer bottle caps (we don't drink) it was surprising. Other than that.....the location is great.
