"It doesn’t get any easier to get around the big city than staying right next to Grand Central Station. Not only is it accessible without having to step out of the property, the staff is kind enough to point you in the right direction. The welcoming security guard at the front makes sure that mostly every guest is greeted and gives the property a safe and sound feel. Alex at the front desk is exceptional and if you happen to have the opportunity to check in with him you should. He explains everything you need to know about the property thoroughly and is kind enough to answer any questions you might have. The rooms are very clean and provide the space needed or that most of us are used to (most New York hotels are tiny) when traveling in the states. Overall the property and its staff are great, will definitely consider staying here again on a future visit. Thanks for everything!"

"We had some issues with the air conditioning being broken but the staff was quick to resolve it and were very helpful, but then my friend lost her earbuds and the staff was extremely rude (but did help us find the earbuds after three days of back and forth). The doormen were also very kind and helpful every time though, props to them! The overall hotel could use some repairs, it’s pretty dated and the outdoor areas (specifically the pool) felt almost rundown. It is, however, an amazing location and we had no problem navigating the city from the hotel. I would probably stay at this hotel again just for the budget friendliness, the location and the friendly doormen!"

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

"They charge $6 per bag to hold them when you check out in morn if you still have the day to spend in the city. I’ve never had to pay for that at any hotel I’ve stayed at before. They also charge $38 a day for their “fee”. They do offer a $35 credit a day for food or drink to off set that I guess. We decided to get Starbucks the next morning to use the credit and waited almost 45 minutes for our order to only be incorrect. The lattes we ordered had no flavor and the chia was very off. Complete waste of time and the credit. Air conditioner wasn’t cooling efficiently. They did send someone up very quickly. He was able to get the room a little cooler and we got a fan brought to room . Room was clean and comfortable. Mattresses were a bit too soft for my liking but I know some would love it."
