Jackass Hostel
1.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (8)
"when I booked this place I wasn't informed about additional payment ($15) if I make check in after 9 p.m. When I've booked this place I received the hostel internal rules and there was this information. But I had no options to cancel my reservation on Hotels.com because this internal rule about additional payment for late check in was not good for me (and I wasn't informed about this rule on Hotels.com during booking process). "This house has a river running through the backyard! It is completely stocked for cooking, game playing, comfy beds and more. We took a bus tour into Yosemite and the pickup point was 2 minutes away. We did a UTV tour and that started 4 minutes away! We went to Bass Lake- about 10 minutes away! Really pleased!"

"Well maintained property. Hosts thought of everything one may need for a comfortable stay. Living area/kitchen is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Outside areas perfect for family fun. The gentleman that opened the hat for us was very nice. One thing I did notice was that other guests left some condiments, groceries. We needed an ingredient and noted that it was out dated. Hosts may need to go thru leftover items and discard the outdated ones."

Sierra Meadows
3.0 star property

"The accommodations were superb and extremely clean. We chose the option with no kitchen or bathroom. The shared bathroom was spotless and close to the room. it was so pleasant sitting on the porch for meals and watching the wildlife all around. My only criticism would be that the mattress was not comfortable for us - too hard. A foam pad would have solved that issue. So would a better mattress."
