Overall an excellent place to stay for families with super easy access to the national park and to all the Estes Park activities, with about a 7-minute drive to the 2 parking lots downtown. I had assumed if you were a novice skier you could walk to the gondola but that there was a trail that would come right to the hotel but that was not the case.
