« This cabin is geared more for Winter and skiing since there is no air conditioning. Our family of 5 guys stayed here on 7/25/2025 because it was not that far from our rafting location, hiking and other attractions in southern VT. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen is stocked for all one's needs. We spent several nights after dinner around the firepit. We very much enjoyed staying here. »

« The name might suggest a house full of skylights (spoiler: there aren’t any), it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us.The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped—we were able to prepare and enjoy multiple sit-down dinners for 17 people using both the kitchen and the adjacent dining area.The great room is a fantastic space for adults to relax, featuring a cozy fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. « Wilmington and this chalet were both wonderful getaways for my husband and I. The chalet was well equipped, comfortable and cozy and had the bonus of a fantastic location. We hiked Haystack and Hogsback, swam and paddle boarded in Harriman Reservoir, and explored the lovely town (Bartleby's bookstore, breweries, Dot's and Village Roost were our favorites).
