Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10 »

« All good, nice clean room, good selection of beers and wine, decent area outside if weather permits, and a very enjoyable meal in the evening. The village itself is very quiet, but would certainly recommend if looking for an overnight stay to break up a journey north or south. »

I didnt know what time the event I was attending nearby would end; and as soon as I came back they brought me a wonderful platter of fish and much more. Saying theyd rather I had it prepared freshly than keep it waiting. Beside a river, in glorious, quiet countryside with the dramatic fells above; I can't wait to stay longer and explore the area. « La chambre qui nous était allouée était propre mais le linge de lit était usé jusqu'à la corde, le dessus de lit sale. Les toilettes et la douche étaient à part sur le palier et quand vous entriez cela sentait l'urine, bref horrible. »
