They gave us keys to another room but when we went to move our things it was being painted. Took all day to get a different room with a working toilet and that didn't have fresh paint and the smell that goes with it."

"Older motel/ hotel with Clean room, comfortable bed and hot water. It looks like they make an effort to keep it clean and extra nice stuff. The breakfast is only ok. I appreciate the real use of plates and mugs. "

"My family enjoyed our spring break stay and this cabin provided everything we needed. The host was responsive and the check-in/out process was clear and straight forward for the most part, if a bit overly involved. There were things that needed figuring out along the way: operating the shower was unintuitive, making sense of the light switches and fan controls, only a few window screens if you like open windows, doors that don't quite latch all the way, extra pet fees, outdated instructions, etc. Those quirks aside, the place was spacious and charmingly cute (wagon wheel window in the bathroom). The fenced in yard gave us peace of mind letting our dog explore. Lots of deck and patio spaces to read and enjoy the outside. The entryway has a nicely portioned vestibule for leaving shoes, coats, and leashes with a dutch door separating the main floor area. Wifi worked well, and we had no problems using the entertainment system. It's closer to 30 minutes from Glenwood Springs than 20, but there are a couple closer towns (Silt, and New Castle) if you need something in a pinch. Overall, we loved it and would gladly recommend it and stay here again in the future!"

"We loved our stay at the Maxwell hotel in Glenwood Springs. Kyra at front desk is an utter gem and the property is lovely. Our bedroom and sitting room were charming plus the extra half bath was unexpected and cherry on top is that everything was immaculately clean. Location is awesome ... you can stroll around the town to shop or eat plus easy walk to the hot springs. The onsite bar, restaurant, coffee shop and clothing/gift shop were a nice bonus as well. "

"Pool is closed in the winter. Small continental breakfast, but granola and fruit is fine for me. Staff was very friendly."
