My husband loved how remote and rustic looking the cabin was and I loved the gas stove and custom made wooden furniture and decor. We hope to stay again next year!
The cabin was just what we wanted! Secluded but close enough to everything! I especially enjoyed the porch!
Where we live the mosquitos are horrible so being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the outdoors was awesome!
A wonderful stay. Great surely for hunters, but also for people just looking for some privacy, hiking, hanging by the fire pit, etc. Nice outdoor stuff to do on the property and nearby. Property owner was helpful and responsive and lives nearby. It was spring and the bird viewing/singing was awesome. Thank You!
Nice property with a large porch & 2 friendly neighborhood dogs that came by for frequent visits. Be aware that there is no wifi and scant cellular coverage (I'm T-Mobile) but you can drive the mile or so into Fifty-Six for a signal.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Nice clean cabin and enjoyed setting out by the fire pit one night. Really took advantage of the covered deck, with my morning coffee. I enjoyed the minimal phone service, even though we did have service out on the deck, it was a nice treat not to have to worry about calls from work ect. I would definitely rent this cabin again. Thanks
My family enjoyed a weekend here. There wasn't wifi and calling/texting was spotty. This is exactly what we needed. We sat around the firepit and spent time together. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee in absolute silence was delightful. Our host was wonderful. It's just a great place to unwind. it's very close to Blanchard Caverns, trails to a waterfall, horseback riding and there is a WalMart about 15 minutes away in Mountain View.
Nice property and owners were good but listing said HOT TUB. There was none. Only picked this property because of hot tub. No Wi-Fi. Phone did not work. Do not remember any mention of that.
We loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful and clean! The property was beautiful! There was a pig pen on the back of the property. Our granddaughters enjoyed walking down and seeing the pigs. It was far enough that there was no smell at the cabin. We had deer walk right up in the driveway while we were sitting on the porch. The cabin was well stocked with cooking utensil and dishes! The only problem we had was the bedroom layout. We are in our sixties and have some mobility issues. The bed was stuck in the corner with the head next to the closet. I use a cpap and had to move a bar stool in to sit it on. My wife had to crawl in and out of bed from the foot to make her frequent bathroom trips. If the bed was move to the wall where the shelves are with a small night stand or table for the use of a cpap and the shelves move to where the bed is it would have been perfect. Younger more flexible people probably wouldn't have a problem. Still give it 5 stars! We love it over all!
This cabin is amazing. It has everything you need and more. I wish we would have had more time to spend there. It is beautiful inside and out. We will definitely be back.
The cabin was in the perfect place. It had everything we needed. We had an issue with our 4 wheeler and they helped us try to fix it. I will definitely be back, and I recommend this cabin to others!

Very peaceful
The owners were very fast to respond to any inquiries I had and were kind enough to allow us a 7th person (infant) even though the accommodations only allowed for 6. If you are looking for a beautiful place where the deer and hummingbirds are in your front door then this is the place for you. Absolutely stunning property inside and out.
The Cabin was amazing Loved how secluded the property was Enjoyed the Fire pit and cooking outside on the grill Beds were comfortable n cabin clean But the TICKS were awful Everytime we went outside we would all have ticks on us and it was awful for the dogs
We enjoyed our stay. We were there to utilize the National Forest and WMA. The proximity was perfect. There is no WiFi which may bother some but it wasn't a problem for me.
This was a beautiful little cabin nestled in the pines!! So peaceful and quite. We enjoyed sitting out around the bonfire listening to coyotes howling, definitely a needed time of serenity. Mr. Randall was such a sweet man.
