"The bed was actually fairly comfortable! There was a strange smell in the building that I can’t pin point and the pool was pretty cold. Did not make it to breakfast but it smelled good! Would stay here again just wish the pool and pool room were warmer, especially with the weather getting colder."

"The house was beautiful and filled with family antiques some like the fire truck were tough for our 3 yr old grandson to leave alone. Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. Our grandkids are 7 yrs old down to 1 1/2 yrs old so the waters edge was a bummer because it was all rocks. They enjoyed throwing rocks. Had we known there wasn’t a beach area and only rocks we would have brought water shoes. Fire wood we were told was under the deck. It was leftover decking. The man who takes care of the property brought fire wood and said anymore wood we would be charged for so my husband went into town and bought more. We used the boat one day and had a blast with the slide. Kids had a lot of fun playing in the water. Water toys are pretty beat up but kids had fun. One day the water was so green that we went to a man made lake nearby and had an absolute blast. Beautiful beach and clean water.Solar lights on the deck steps would be helpful at night. We got some from Walmart super cheap and have lasted years.Overall we had a nice time. Our grandson left a note that he didn’t want to leave so we take that as a win😊"
