"Great value for a quick stop at a motel-type setup for this roadtripper. Free hot breakfast, staff quick to help and very talkative in a fun way. Basic room but bonus big fridge and super soft king bed. I also regret that all the updated and expensive hotels only have slippery shower stalls, so it was great to have a bath tub after a long drive. Felt safe and although I suspect if there were partiers you might hear them through the walls, my stay was quiet (and short)."

"The befs were so bad we didnt sleep all night and felt bad all the next day. I live in arkansas and have stayed before. The beds were great at the time. Not sure we hat happened. Also, there should be safety bars ib all the bathrooms. In the public bathroom there wasnt a handicapped bathroom at all. It was very difficult to get up for.me a d my sister. I was so embarrassed to take my sister and niece to what i thought would be a great experience for them. "

"Renovated and charming, this gem of a property maintains history and offers modern convenience. The property owners put much thought into the details. We especially enjoyed the turntable and records. It does offer off street parking however, my big rig didn’t fit under the carport. No big deal as I was happy I didn’t need to park on the street.You are literally two blocks from Oaklawn, so if in town for the races, this is your place. Getting to bathhouse row requires a drive, as it is a bit further and I wouldn’t recommend walking through a part of the area between the house and the bathhouses. There’s plenty of restaurant choices and I recommend looking beyond the tourist area We particularly enjoyed The Goat Mediterranean and The Best Cafe."
